Our Mission
In a rapidly evolving global landscape, our community confronts the challenge of a fragmented identity, prioritization of individual pursuits, and most critically a delayed realization of the importance of community building. This lack of cohesive activism and engagement impedes our community's ability to effectively address contemporary issues, influence policy, and fulfill our broader spiritual, social, and moral responsibilities as advocated in Islamic teachings.
Guided by the belief that positive activism is essential for our community's survival and our Islamic beliefs are our foundation, the mission of the American Muslims Advocacy Network (AMAN) is to nurture a strong culture of advocacy and community building, through education, engagement with the community, building collaborative networks, influencing policy, and shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
